  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Director of IT to oversee all aspects of technical infrastructure, including endpoint management, SaaS tools, network infrastructure, cybersecurity strategy and evaluating emerging tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This requires a strategic leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves

    The Director of IT will be responsible for:

    • Leadership of a small team and third party vendors.

    • Development of the organization's overall IT strategy, including cybersecurity, AI adoption, and IT operations to align with and support organizational goals and objectives.

    • Identify and implement emerging technologies that improve efficiency, strengthen security, and create value for the organization.

    • Stay abreast of potential cybersecurity threats and partner with external vendors as needed.

    • Work with cross functional teams in support of various of initiatives and daily outputs.

    • Identify emerging technologies and AI that can enhance workflows, reduce risk, and strengthen service delivery.

    • Develop and promote IT and AI governance standards to ensure responsible, secure, and ethical use across the organization.

    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, AI workplace tools and act as a trusted advisor to leadership to advance the company mission.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop the company's AI roadmap.

    • Develop and enforce endpoint security policies, conditional access configurations for devices and software while ensuring compliance with applicable security standards.

    • Conduct risk assessments and assist with incident response, threat mitigation, and device lockdown procedures.

    • Maintain documentation and evidence of compliance activities for internal and external review.

    • Manage provisioning, configuration, and deployment of laptops and phones across Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.

    • MDM administration and maintenance systems and policy development for full-disk encryption, anti-virus software, and secure boot configurations.

    • Oversee maintenance of hardware inventory, ensuring timely patching and updates for all operating systems and devices as well as the administration and provisioning of user accounts across all workspace tools.

    • Implement, manage and collaborate on SSO integrations across workspace platforms.

    • Oversee and optimize office infrastructure, including Wi-Fi networks, firewalls (Ubiquiti, Meraki), A/V systems, printers, docks, and monitors, while ensuring secure access policies and segmented networks.

    • Lead and support the IT team, stepping in to be hands-on when needed to resolve in-office tech issues and coordinating with external vendors for escalation.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field.

    • At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including staff/vendor management and hands-on systems administration.

    • Demonstrated experience developing IT strategy for office infrastructure, endpoint management, SaaS platforms, and security.

    • Strong knowledge of network management, endpoint security, and SaaS administration, with hands-on experience in MDM systems, SSO solutions, and enterprise collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).

    • Familiarity with AI applications for business operations and cybersecurity contexts.

    • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

    $225,000 per year
