    TITLE: Director of Innovation Analytics

    LOCATION: NYC, Boston, Chicago, San Fran, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Connecticut

    Analytics is a key growth area for Kantar in North America, and a critical backbone for many of our solutions. We have always had a strong, profitable analytics business, but we are making significant investments to build a more scalable business model to tap into the rapidly growing analytics market in North America.

    We seek growth-minded superstars to work with teams across the Kantar to support an analytics solution strategy within Innovation Analytics that will deliver accelerated and consistent growth for Kantar North America. Kantar has access to all the knowledge, data assets and talent to make this a reality. But to truly differentiate and maximize the impact of our offer to the marketplace, we need to better leverage our analytic capabilities to uncover differentiating insights for our clients and drive commercial success.

    KEY OUTCOMES & ROLE EXPECTATIONS

    This leader will be responsible for:

    • Partnering with Client Service teams in business development

    • Collaborating Partner with Client Service in research design

    • Manage individual projects and client relationships on time & on budget

    • Consult with clients on analytic approach & emerging needs

    • Guide analytics delivery with data science teams in place

    • Working with leadership to support the overall Innovation growth strategy

    Role success requires that you will be a client leader that: (a) ensures the INNOVATION solutions, strategies and offers are aligned with global developments and well represented during global discussions; and at the same time, (b) embraces the unique demands of the North American market and leverages and aligns the vast resources we have across Kantar. To that end, the candidate must:

    • Have a confident comprehension of our Innovation offer and an understanding of the competitive context

    • Be comfortable working with teammates across the portfolio, utilizing strong collaboration skills

    • Comprehend the selling points and appropriate applications of a variety of analytic solutions, both custom and standardized

    • Be commercially and client oriented, with ability to serve as an expert sales agent and analytic content consultant, and develop and activate a disciplined strategy for growth

      • Drive revenue growth and profitability

      • Establish Kantar Insights as a thought leader

      • Broaden and publicize Kantar offerings

      • Identify product development opportunities from client feedback

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support strategy and overall business plan for INNOVATION analytics

    • In partnership with Client Management, Business Development, & Marketing ledaers, develop and implement the Kantar Insights go-to-market strategy, which will ensure we meet aggressive NA budgets:

      • Identify client needs (both current and future) for each of the INNOVATION ANALYTICS solutions approaches and turn them into business recommendations / plans

      • Identify key strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities impacting growth, along with action plans

      • Work with global to ensure that the global positioning is relevant and can have longevity in NA Market

      • Apprise and train Client Management about the offers on a continuous basis

    • Be the acknowledged senior “go-to” person for all aspects of INNOVATION ANALYTICS solutions:

      • Business development: Expert “Sales Force” supporting proposals and pitches

      • Thought leadership and consulting: Be visible with clients and on speaking platforms

    CAPABILITIES

    • Proven credentials in industry and demonstrated success in integrated analytic experience

    • Fluency in Conjoint and Choice Model methods

    • Fluency in analytics and non-survey based research

    • Demonstrated cross portfolio collaboration

    • Strong client relationships and networking skills

    • Business savvy and commercial acumen

    The salary range for this role in Illinois is $108,200 – $180,300. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
