We are experiencing accelerated growth as customers in the St. Louis marketplace are increasingly seeking a beverage and foods distributor that consistently delivers exceptional service, flexibility in delivery approach, responsiveness to service requirements, and works to be of long-term value to their business.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Director of Installation & Service to help drive our next stage of growth.
This is more than an operations management role. The Director of Installation & Service is a key member of our leadership team and has a seat at the decision-making table, helping to shape the company’s strategy, customer experience, focus on excellence, and future growth initiatives.
Position Overview
The Director of Installation & Service is responsible for leading all installation, service, and field operations activities across our fountain beverage and “fun foods” business. This individual will oversee day-to-day load management of technicians, installers, and support personnel while developing scalable systems, processes, and revenue-generating service programs that strengthen customer relationships and improve profitability.
The ideal candidate is an operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, builds high performance teams, and understands how superior service can become the defining competitive advantage for a company.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
· Hire, train, lead, coach, and develop installation and service personnel.
· Establish and manage towards performance standards at the individual and team levels.
· Foster a culture of “Customer First” and fanatical commitment to customer service.
Operational Excellence
· Installation and Maintenance Services timely, efficiently and “first time” fixes.
· Procedures to growth targets.
· Monitor service metrics, response times, customer satisfaction and overall operational performance.
· Drive process improvements as required to increase productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Strategic Growth & Revenue Development
· Design and implement preventative maintenance programs that create recurring revenues while improving customer “uptime” and product quality experience.
· Identify new products and services offerings that differentiate the company in the marketplace.
· Collaborate with Sales to support customer acquisitions and retention efforts.
Qualifications
· Proven leadership experience managing installation and service teams.
· Strong operational management and process improvement background.
· Experience developing service programs, preventative maintenance approaches, recurring revenue type services for a customer group.
· Leadership, effective communicator, team builder, calm, level headed and committed to finding a way to get thins done instead of finding ways that it can’t be done.
· Experience in the fountain beverage industry a plus. Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper fountain beverage systems work is a fit.
