    Position Summary

    Bray & Scarff is seeking a high-caliber Director of Kitchen and Bath Remodeling to lead, scale and optimize our remodeling division. Reporting to the EVP of Sales, the position has full P&L and operational oversight.

    The Director of Kitchen and Bath Remodeling is responsible for the leadership, management, and performance of the division, including all sales and operational functions: kitchen and bath design, project management, field installation, service operations, and supply chain management. This executive role ensures projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with company quality and customer satisfaction standards.

    Core Responsibilities

    Operational Leadership

    Execute operational strategies that support company goals, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

    Facilitate sales goals while motivating, mentoring, and coaching staff.

    Create and monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, and financial performance.

    Kitchen & Bath Design Team Leadership

    Provide leadership and performance oversight for the design team.

    Enforce design standards, workflow processes, and specification integrity to ensure installation feasibility.

    Oversee design training, professional development, and certification programs.

    Project Management & Production Oversight

    Oversee remodeling projects from contract execution through final completion.

    Ensure projects meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

    Identify and resolve project delays, cost overruns, and workflow inefficiencies.

    Field Operations & Installation Management

    Direct field supervisors, installation teams, and subcontractor relationships.

    Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing and installation capacity.

    Manage escalated customer concerns and implement corrective action plans when necessary.

    Supply Chain & Vendor Management

    Oversee procurement, vendor partnerships, and material logistics.

    Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with manufacturers and suppliers.

    Leadership & Talent Development

    Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of designers, project managers, and production managers.

    Establish performance expectations and accountability structures.

    Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

    Experience: Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in residential remodeling, construction, design-build, or the kitchen and bath industry.

    Management: Demonstrated success managing multi-department operational teams and subcontractors.

    Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential construction methods, building codes, and financial/budgetary management.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience leading kitchen and bath design teams.

    Familiarity with industry software platforms such as 20/20, NetSuite, or similar systems.

    Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence training or certification.

    Experience implementing operational process improvements in growth-oriented organizations.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    Combination of office, showroom, warehouse and active job site environments.

    Occasional travel to job sites, vendor facilities and company locations.

    Ability to lift or move product samples and materials up to 25 pounds.
