    Position – Director of Maintenance (Aviation Operations)
    Location: Kingman, AZ

    Summary

    The Director of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing all aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This role provides leadership to maintenance teams and ensures aircraft are maintained in an airworthy condition to support ongoing operations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee all aircraft maintenance operations and ensure regulatory compliance
    • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards
    • Develop and manage maintenance programs, schedules, and procedures
    • Supervise maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management
    • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to support aircraft availability
    • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all maintenance activities
    • Manage vendor relationships and maintenance service providers
    • Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and operational efficiency
    • Ensure aircraft are maintained in airworthy condition at all times
    • Serve as primary point of contact with FAA representatives and regulatory authorities
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolution of complex maintenance issues
    • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
    • Other duties as assigned

    Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

    • Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role required
    • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (Part 91, 135, or 121 as applicable)
    • Experience managing aircraft maintenance programs and teams
    • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, inspections, and repair processes
    • Experience with maintenance tracking systems and documentation
    • Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and operational performance
    • Strong leadership and team development skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and regulatory authorities
  • Compensation
    $120,000-$140,000 per year
