    Job Summary

    As Marketing Director, you will lead AmSpec’s global marketing strategy with a focus on inbound marketing, lead generation, and digital presence. You’ll oversee our website, craft compelling campaigns, and elevate our brand awareness—particularly around our new sustainability and environmental offerings. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-evolving environment and is passionate about the intersection of marketing, science, and sustainability.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities


    Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with AmSpec’s business goals and new service verticals.
    • Position AmSpec as a thought leader in sustainability-focused testing, inspection, and certification.
    • Lead the Go to Market efforts for our energy transition sector, shaping strategy, execution and team leadership to expand our reach and engagement.
    • Provide stakeholder at all levels with a clear, data driven view of the segments marketing performance, key initiatives and growth opportunities.

    Inbound & Digital Marketing

    • Own the inbound marketing funnel, including content strategy, SEO, email marketing, and lead nurturing.
    • Drive performance marketing initiatives (paid search, LinkedIn ads, retargeting) to generate qualified leads.
    • Use insights from market trends, customer behavior, and performance metrics to refine strategy and identify opportunities for impact and growth.

    Website Management

    • Oversee AmSpec’s website strategy, ensuring it is optimized for SEO, conversion, and a seamless user experience.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to update content and functionality as needed.

    Brand Awareness & Storytelling

    • Lead brand positioning efforts to differentiate AmSpec in a competitive landscape.
    • Highlight our sustainability-focused services through strategic messaging, content, and media outreach.
    • Collaborate with our business development team, social media team to develop integrated campaigns that drive awareness and enagement

    Lead Generation & Reporting

    • Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to build scalable lead gen campaigns.
    • Own marketing analytics and reporting, including KPIs like lead volume, MQLs, CPL, and campaign ROI.

    Vendor & Contract Management

    • Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
    • Oversee all marketing-related contracts, ensuring performance, compliance, and value for investment.
    • Evaluate and onboard new partners as needed to support strategy execution.

    Team Oversight

    • Build and lead a high-performing internal team as the department grows that is agile, data driven and focused on continuous improvement.
    • Direct social media, collateral creation, and digital presence.
    • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and impact.

    Required Skills

    Skills/Qualifications

    • 7 - 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in professional services, TIC, or related sectors
    • Demonstrated expertise in inbound marketing, website management, and lead generation
    • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and analytics tools
    • Experience managing marketing vendors, agencies, and associated contracts
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Experience in global or multi-regional marketing in growth stage environments
    • A results orientated, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainability and experience marketing purpose-driven solutions is a bonus
    • Strong leadership and team building skills with demonstrated experience managing high performance teams.
    • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work across multiple departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%

    Office environment; travel required to attend industry functions and training representing AmSpec
