Frozen Ropes is looking for a Director of Marketing & Business Development to lead initiatives that expand our programs, grow our community presence, and strengthen our brand across the region.
This is not a traditional desk job. It’s a dynamic role where you’ll combine marketing strategy, partnership development, event promotion, and business growth to help drive the success of one of the most respected player development organizations in the country.
You’ll work directly with leadership, coaches, athletes, and community partners to help bring the Frozen Ropes training experience to more players and families.

Frozen Ropes is a nationally recognized leader in baseball and softball player development, offering innovative training programs that focus on the mental, visual, and physical aspects of the game.
Our Chester, NY facility serves athletes throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding regions, providing high-level instruction, camps, clinics, leagues, and advanced player development programs.
As participation continues to grow, we are investing in marketing, partnerships, and business development to expand our reach and bring our training programs to even more athletes.
Position Overview
The Director of Marketing & Business Development will play a key role in driving awareness, participation, and growth for Frozen Ropes.
This role combines marketing leadership, strategic partnerships, community engagement, and growth initiatives. You will be responsible for expanding program participation, developing relationships within the baseball and softball community, and identifying opportunities to grow the Frozen Ropes brand locally and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness and participation in Frozen Ropes programs
Manage digital marketing efforts including website updates, social media campaigns, and email outreach
Track marketing performance and analyze campaign results using Google Workspace and Excel
Identify new opportunities to strengthen brand presence throughout the region
Business Development & Partnerships
Build relationships with local baseball and softball organizations, schools, leagues, and community groups
Develop partnerships that generate new athlete enrollment and program opportunities
Represent Frozen Ropes at tournaments, networking events, and community functions
Identify strategic opportunities to grow the Frozen Ropes business
Program & Event Promotion
Promote camps, clinics, leagues, and special training events
Coordinate marketing for tournaments, showcases, and seasonal programs
Organize community outreach events, open houses, and facility tours
Support weekend events designed to engage athletes and families
Business Expansion Support
Assist in identifying new markets and opportunities for Frozen Ropes growth
Support outreach to prospective franchise or license partners
Help coordinate onboarding and marketing support for new locations when needed
Work with leadership to evaluate expansion opportunities
Franchise & Partner Support
Maintain communication with Frozen Ropes partners and locations
Conduct regular virtual meetings to share marketing insights and best practices
Assist partner locations with marketing strategies and program promotion
Support collaborative initiatives across the Frozen Ropes network
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will combine marketing knowledge, strong networking abilities, and a passion for sports.
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in marketing, business development, sales, or sports management
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience developing partnerships and generating new business opportunities
Understanding of digital marketing and brand promotion
Highly organized with strong project management skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, and virtual meeting platforms
Experience in youth sports organizations, sports facilities, franchising, or athletic program management is a strong plus.
