What You’ll Lead
Center Operations & Leadership
Create a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment for children, staff, and families.
Maintain compliance with all state licensing, safety, and health standards.
Lead hiring, training, and retention of exceptional educators and support staff.
Mentor and develop your team — building a workplace where everyone feels proud and valued.
Partner with teachers to highlight the curriculum and deliver joyful, consistent learning experiences.
Enrollments & Family Engagement
Build strong relationships with prospective families, guiding them from inquiry through their first day with care and confidence.
Lead personalized center tours that reflect warmth, professionalism, and the heart of your school.
Ensure consistent follow-up and family communication that drives engagement and retention.
Own and optimize your center’s enrollment pipeline — nurturing leads, tracking conversions, and exceeding occupancy goals.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Champion your center’s brand through engaging social media, parent outreach, and community visibility.
Organize impactful events and in-center celebrations that build loyalty and word-of-mouth buzz.
Build partnerships with local businesses, parent networks, and community groups.
Use marketing tools (social media, email, Canva, reviews, etc.) to elevate your center’s presence — support available as needed.
Culture & Employer Branding
Lead with purpose, positivity, and empathy — creating a culture of appreciation, inclusion, and excellence.
Recognize and celebrate your team’s contributions with intention and consistency.

Who You Are
A confident, compassionate leader who brings out the best in others.
Experienced in child care center operations, licensing, compliance, and staff development.
Naturally skilled at connecting with families and building long-term trust.
Comfortable with community outreach and willing to learn or enhance digital marketing skills.
Tech-friendly and open to using tools like CRM, email platforms, and design apps (e.g. Canva).
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience as a Center Director in a CT OEC licensed child care center.
2+ years of experience in customer-facing sales roles.
Experience in driving Enrollments and Family engagement — ideally with exposure to marketing, including organizing events.
Experience with social media, Canva, CRM/email platforms, and review strategies.
Willing to obtain CT “Head Teacher” or “Director” credentials within 6 months (if not already certified).
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Communications, or Marketing is a plus.
