    Saddlehill Cellars is a premier winery and culinary destination, offering tastings, vineyard tours, and premier private events just 12 miles from a major U.S. city.

    We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly creative Director of Marketing to own, manage, and execute all aspects of the winery's marketing strategy. This is a full-charge, on-location position requiring a hands-on leader who can move seamlessly between high-level strategy and daily content creation.

    The ideal candidate possesses exceptional photographic, video, and editing capabilities, and thrives in a high-growth environment where they are responsible for both the vision and the execution of the brand's digital and physical presence, driving:

    Key Objectives

    The Director of Marketing will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing an integrated digital marketing program designed to achieve the following core priorities:

    Increase Local Visitation: Drive traffic to the tasting room and vineyard.

    Expand Event Bookings: Maximize corporate, private, and vineyard event revenue.

    Build Lasting Relationships: Nurture customer loyalty and drive stronger customer retention through thoughtful digital engagement.

    Core Responsibilities & Duties

    1. Digital Marketing Strategy & Management (in collaboration with 5forests)

    Campaign Ownership: Oversee and execute an integrated digital strategy that includes Meta Advertising, Google Ads, Email Marketing, Local SEO, and Organic Social Media.

    Creative Asset Production (Hands-On):

    Serve as the primary in-house content creator, responsible for original photography, videography, and editing.

    Develop compelling, platform-specific ad creatives (images and video) for Meta and Google Ads, aligning with the vineyard lifestyle and seasonal experiences.

    Create and manage visual assets using the defined Canva folder structure, ensuring all marketing materials—from social posts to print ads and menus—are visually consistent and on-brand.

    Email & Permission Marketing:

    Execute email campaigns to share news, offers, and nurture relationships, focusing on promoting events, seasonal releases, and experiences.

    Oversee email list segmentation (e.g., wine club members vs. casual visitors, locals vs. tourists) and continuously refine campaigns based on performance data.

    Local SEO & Presence:

    Manage and optimize the Google Business Profile (GBP), ensuring accurate information, selecting relevant categories, posting updates, and monitoring/responding to customer questions.

    Implement tactics to encourage and respond to customer reviews on GBP and other platforms.

    1. Product & Collateral Marketing (New Focus)

    Product Label Creation and Management: Lead the design and management of all wine and non-wine product labels, ensuring compliance, brand consistency, and aesthetic appeal.

    Collateral Design: Design and manage marketing collateral for products, including but not limited to shelf talkers/POS materials, Tasting Room menus, and informational brochures.

    Product Graphics: Develop visual graphics for product showcases and sales pages for the website and online shop.

    Farm-to-Table Marketing: Ensure marketing materials for other agricultural products sold in the Tasting Room (e.g., fresh cut flowers, honey) are engaging and on-brand.

    1. Content & Brand Management

    Organic Social Media: Prepare and execute a consistent posting calendar across relevant channels (Meta, Instagram, etc.) using supplied assets, ensuring a visually cohesive brand voice and alignment with promotions and events.

    Event Marketing:

    Develop materials (brochures, invitations, graphics) to promote and secure bookings for Special Occasion Events (Weddings, Corporate Events) and on-site tastings and tours.

    Ensure all on-site marketing activities comply with the approved Agricultural Management Practice (AMP) regarding events, music, and food offerings.

    Creative Asset Library: Manage and update the central Photography & Video Library (Canva Folder 05), including raw and edited images/video for Vineyard & Landscape, Wine/Food/Product Shots, Events & Experiences, and People & Team.

    1. Leadership & Collaboration

    Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external digital marketing agency (5forests), ensuring campaigns align with strategic business goals and performance reports are clearly communicated.

    Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with the Tasting Room, Wine Club, Sales, and Events teams to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

    Reporting & Optimization: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to visitation, event attendance, and sales, using data to continuously refine and adapt all marketing efforts.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the wine, hospitality, or DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) industries.

    Proven ability to function as a "full charge" leader who is accountable for strategy, budget, and hands-on execution.

    Required Technical Proficiency: Expert in digital content creation, including professional-level photographic, video, and editing capabilities.

    Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo or Mailchimp), and Canva/Adobe Creative Suite.

    Strong understanding of product labeling regulations, print production, Local SEO, performance marketing, and data-driven decision-making.

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a clear, engaging, and brand-consistent storytelling ability.

    Ability and willingness to work on-site full-time in Voorhees, New Jersey.
