We are bringing together a holistic, purposefully designed experience to include spa services, beauty treatments, healing amenities, elevated food and drink, member events, fitness, and childcare.     Director of Membership

    Our Director of Membership is the social heart of The Village and the ultimate brand ambassador in San Antonio. This leader is the driving force behind our community, responsible for strategically growing our membership base and acting as the vital link that connects our members. They lead the Membership Committee, foster essential relationships, and are dedicated to ensuring every member feels a profound sense of belonging, directly enhancing the value of membership and the spirit of The Village.

    This position is a full-time salaried-exempt position that directly reports to The Village CEO.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    Membership Recruitment & Engagement

    Identify and target potential members within the local residential and business communities.

    Conduct meetings and presentations to explain the Club's offerings and benefits.

    Organize guest visits, show-arounds, and special event invitations.

    Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients for group memberships.

    Work with the spa team to help them understand the membership options.

    Work closely with Marketing and Events to ensure members are engaged with programming.

    Membership Growth & Strategy

    Develop and implement strategies to achieve membership growth and revenue targets.

    Utilize personal and professional networks to generate awareness and interest in the Club.

    Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the Club remains competitive.

    Manage the membership budget and plan detailed strategies for achieving revenue goals.

    Strategic Leadership & Management:

    Manage a high-performing team, foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and gracious hospitality.

    Responsible for success of Member Relations team and The Little Village

    Support with the creation and management of a diverse and effective membership committee.

    Schedule, organize, and chair regular committee meetings to review applications and gather feedback.

    Ensure committee members are actively generating qualified leads and manage their performance.

    Membership Operations & Administration:

    Oversee the membership application process, pipeline management, and invoices.

    Monitor and analyze membership data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

    Manage the day-to-day operations of the membership team, including setting objectives and monitoring performance.

    Act as an arbiter of the Club value proposition

    Member Relations & Retention:

    Serve as a key point of contact for members, addressing their feedback and concerns.

    Preside over access to the Club, ensuring adherence to rules and standards of conduct.

    Actively participate in the development of member services, amenities and benefits.

    WHO YOU ARE

    This isn’t your first rodeo - you have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Hospitality.

    You have strong business acumen and understanding of business operations with experience in a leadership or management role preferred.

    You know all the best spots (and people) around San Antonio - you’re in the know. We’ll find you at the latest restaurant opening, shopping at the local boutiques, popping into a local art show, and at a non-profit gala.

    A reliable, motivated self-starter with a dedication to personal and professional growth. You enjoy fast-paced environments, aren’t deterred by setbacks or pivots, and thrive in roles requiring a very high degree of responsibility, problem-solving, and autonomy. You get the job done.

    You have a high degree of emotional intelligence and excellent judgement. You are self-aware, an extremely effective communicator, and a kind and authentic leader.

    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends at The Village as well as ability to work offsite as needed. Light travel may be required. You are deeply invested in the well-being of all members, guests, and the team, and proud to be a key leader driving the growth of the business.
