Review and update nursing policies, procedures, and competencies as needed to maintain compliance.
Assist in preparing for accreditation surveys, state inspections, and Medicare deeming status renewals, including mock surveys and corrective action plans.
Monitor credentialing and competency of nursing staff; advise on staff development and training needs.
Serve as a resource for the ASC Administrator and Governing Body on nursing-related regulatory matters.
Participate in QAPI meetings (in-person or virtually) and review incident reports, infection control data, and peer review processes.
Ensure the center's nursing practices support safe, high-quality patient care in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases.
Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in perioperative nursing (OR, PACU, or ASC setting).

Experience with accreditation surveys, quality improvement initiatives, and infection prevention highly preferred.
Certifications such as CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room), CASC (Certified Administrator Surgery Center), or similar a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Professional liability insurance required.
