Director of Nursing for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Compensation: $135,000 - $150,000 Annual Salary

Position Description

You will lead all clinical operations for a 156 bed skilled nursing facility, with full oversight of the nursing department, clinical quality and regulatory compliance. This building cares for a population with significant behavioral health and substance use disorder needs and runs a monthly self reporting process, so this is a seat for a leader who has managed real complexity before. It is also a building with room to move, and the Administrator and ownership are committed to getting the star rating where it belongs. Working alongside the Administrator, you will manage nurse staffing and scheduling, own survey readiness, and drive the quality outcomes that shape the building's trajectory.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license in good standing, BSN preferred
• Current or prior experience AS A DIRECTOR OF NURSING in a skilled nursing facility. This seat is not an ADON step up.
• A demonstrated track record of moving a facility in the right direction, with a positive survey history
• Working knowledge of federal and state long term care regulations, the survey process and QAPI
• Experience leading clinical care for residents with behavioral health and substance use disorder needs

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the nursing department, including hiring, scheduling and retention
• Own regulatory compliance, survey readiness and plan of correction follow through
• Drive quality measures and the facility's QAPI program, including the monthly self reporting process
• Oversee clinical assessments, care planning and resident outcomes
• Partner with the Administrator on admissions, census and interdisciplinary decisions
