    Position Summary

    The LPN oversees all personal care services and medication administration for residents, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe, homelike environment and leading a team of care professionals with empathy, accountability, and clinical excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    Direct and supervise care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care

    Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies

    Oversee medication management, documentation, and resident assessments

    Lead infection control initiatives and ensure adherence to safety protocols

    Conduct staff training, evaluations, and ongoing education

    Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident well-being

    Participate in care plan development and quality assurance initiatives

    Respond to emergencies and provide clinical leadership during crisis situations

    Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for audits and inspections

    Qualifications

    Current LPN license in the state of Virginia

    Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or memory care

    Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred

    Strong knowledge of state regulations and best practices in senior care

    Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

    Compassionate leadership style with a commitment to resident dignity and staff development

    Preferred Skills

    Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medication management systems

    Familiarity with dementia care and behavioral support strategies

    Ability to mentor and inspire a diverse care team

    Proficiency in conflict resolution and team-building
