    Position Overview:

    This role oversees a wide range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation services, as well as home health, hospice, and community outreach programs. The Director is responsible for promoting excellence in resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and functioning as a valued member of the administrative team.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (minimum).
    • Licensure/Certification: Current RN License and CPR Certification
    • Experience:
      • Minimum 5 years of experience as an RN, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
      • Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience at a manager or director level in a hospital environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead by example to promote excellence in resident care
    • Delegate responsibilities and achieve results through others
    • Manage departmental budget effectively
    • Function as a valued member of the administrative team
    • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and Joint Commission requirements
    • Oversee and support quality patient care across all service lines
    • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and professional development
    • Participate in strategic planning and implementation of the hospital initiatives

    Physical Examination Responsibilities:

    • Assist with lifting and moving patients
    • Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs)
    • Occasional prolonged standing/walking
    • Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
    • Occasionally lift supplies/equipment

    Medical Oversight Responsibilities:

    • Oversee clinical operations to ensure quality and safety
    • Handle emergency or crisis situations as needed
    • Make critical judgments and take action in situations that could impact patient outcomes
