    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing setting, a strong record in regulatory compliance and survey success, and a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor nursing staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all clinical operations within the skilled nursing facility.

    • Manage and mentor RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Ohio Department of Health standards.

    • Maintain and improve survey readiness, achieving positive survey outcomes.

    • Implement staff development programs to foster clinical excellence and retention.

    • Collaborate with the facility administrator to ensure resident-centered care, operational efficiency, and high-quality clinical outcomes.

    • Monitor and support care plans, quality metrics, and performance improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Current, active Ohio RN license.

    • Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience in a skilled nursing facility.

    • Proven success with regulatory surveys and compliance.

    • Strong leadership and team development skills.

    • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
