    Position Overview:

    Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Director of OB/GYN to provide strategic clinical leadership and oversee all aspects of the women's health service line to join a Federally Qualified Health Center in Arverne, Queens, NY. This role combines administrative leadership with direct patient care in a mission-driven community health setting.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
    • Licensure: Unrestricted New York State medical license.
    • Certification: Board Certified in OB/GYN.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical OB/GYN experience and at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role. Experience or a strong understanding of FQHC operations is preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Expertise in full-scope OB/GYN care, quality metric management, HRSA compliance, program development, and budget oversight.
    • Soft Skills: Visionary leadership, excellent mentorship and coaching abilities, strategic thinking, strong collaboration skills, and a deep commitment to community health equity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Clinical Leadership & Operations:

    • Provide leadership for the OB/GYN service line across all clinical sites
    • Oversee OB/GYN providers, including scheduling templates, access targets, and coverage plans
    • Coordinate on-site, after-hours/on-call coverage and hospital affiliation activities
    • Monitor and maintain high-quality clinical outcomes aligned with HRSA and UDS standards
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
    • Lead service line growth and expansion of women’s health programs

    Quality, Safety & Compliance:

    • Accountable for OB/GYN quality metrics and clinical performance
    • Lead peer review, case conferences, and incident learning initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with HRSA, regulatory, and governance requirements
    • Maintain and update OB/GYN Policies & Procedures

    People Leadership:

    • Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate OB/GYN providers
    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management
    • Partner with senior leadership on staffing models and clinic efficiency
    • Foster a culture of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, patient-centered care

    Direct Patient Care:

    • Provide full-scope gynecologic care
    • Manage consultations and escalate care to advanced procedures or surgery through hospital affiliates as appropriate

    Community Engagement & Program Development:

    • Partner with Outreach and Communications teams on maternal health initiatives and community education
    • Support grant initiatives, program reporting, and new service development
    • Participate in community events and population health initiatives
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
