Position Overview
The Director of Operations supports a growing portfolio of KidStrong locations, with a primary focus on in-center operations. This role requires an organized, people-focused leader who can drive operational excellence while enhancing the member experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting operational execution, ensuring high-quality member interactions, and driving performance metrics. Committed to KidStrong’s standards of excellence, you will partner with all locations to achieve operational goals, working closely with the corporate support team to meet financial and growth targets.
Key Accountabilities
Center Operations
Support the execution of daily operations across all locations to ensure seamless delivery and consistently high-quality experiences for members.
Monitor and refine operational procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee scheduling and wage management.
Ensure coaching excellence through systems execution, event delivery, and inventory management.
Member Experience
Maintain center cleanliness and presentation.
Support coach development and KidStrong program delivery.
Gather, review, and act on member feedback to continually improve service.
Business Acumen & Analytics
Assist with P&L management and support financial decision-making.
Manage and track assigned KPIs to measure and improve performance.

Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in center operations management, preferably in a membership-based fitness or child development environment.
Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and guiding teams.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills, along with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead by example with honesty, integrity, and accountability.
Demonstrated success in driving performance and achieving operational goals.
Solid financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000
Bonus: Up to 15% semi-annual performance-based bonus
