    Role Overview

    The Director of Operations will lead all aspects of operations including inventory management, supply chain, vendor relations, forecasting, and warehouse performance. A primary focus of this role will be overseeing inventory planning and forecasting, along with sourcing new products and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods from manufacturer to customer.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage inventory planning, purchasing, and replenishment in line with demand forecasts and business growth

    • Oversee relationships with current vendors and manufacturers, ensuring consistent product quality and timely delivery

    • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate demand forecasting and seamless order flow

    • Identify and source new product opportunities that align with market trends and company goals

    • Oversee warehouse and fulfillment operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely shipping

    • Analyze pricing and cost structures to maintain healthy margins and competitive positioning

    • Take ownership of operational components of the P&L, working closely with finance to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies

    • Work cross-functionally with product, e-commerce, and customer service teams to ensure alignment across the business

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Proven track record managing inventory planning and demand forecasting in a fast-paced environment

    • Direct experience sourcing new products and managing vendor/manufacturer relationships, including strong negotiation skills

    • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and fulfillment logistics

    • Demonstrated ability to launch new products within a retail or e-commerce setting

    • Experience with pricing analysis and maintaining target margins across product lines

    • Solid understanding and ownership of P&L management and operational budgeting

    • Background in retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel product businesses

    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

    • Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems and operational data analysis tools
