Supporting some of the largest QSR brands, the Director of Operations will oversee several locations within the Chicago market. This position will be a 5-day work week with the need for schedule flexibility based off the business need.
Responsibilities
Creates sales programs to leverage business opportunities.
Establishes labor budgets, food cost targets, guest surveys, and brand standards. Ensures Restaurant Managers maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
Oversees store performance; forecast sales data and trends to best support business and staffing needs.
Work with Restaurant Managers to determine hiring needs. Support Restaurant Managers with interviewing, disciplining, and training of crew members.
Oversees ongoing store maintenance and escalates to external vendors.
Leads brand standards to meet and surpass board of health and ops connect inspections.
Ensures speed of service goals are being met.
Cover for restaurant managers’ days off, as needed.
Support daily operations of stores, as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal person will have management and/or leadership experience in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant.
Experience in high-level quick-service management, including new store opening and store development is required.
Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite is required.
Ability to manage and effectively communicate with stakeholders of varying levels
Ability to interpret and present financial information is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence change.
This is a leadership role; a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality is required.
