    Job Title: Director of Operations (Registered Nurse) Reports to: CEO Location: Sheffield Village, Ohio Employment Type: Full-Time

    Position Summary: The Director of Operations (RN) plays a key leadership role within our non-skilled home health care organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing office operations, including scheduling and billing, while serving as a clinical liaison for home health aides and families. As both an RN and an operations strategist, this role blends clinical oversight with strategic executive-level thinking, ensuring process improvement, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and strong team performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operational Oversight:

    Supervise and support office-based staff, including the scheduler and billing team.

    Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with internal processes.

    Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement process changes as needed.

    Ensure HIPAA compliance and all privacy regulations are strictly followed.

    Manage and adjust internal dashboards to support productivity and workflow efficiency.

    Clinical Leadership:

    Serve as a liaison between the clinical staff, caregivers, clients, and families.

    Evaluate clients in their homes as needed to develop or update personalized care plans.

    Collaborate with the scheduling team to match clients with the most appropriate caregivers based on skill, compatibility, and availability.

    Provide clinical guidance and support to caregivers when questions or escalations arise.

    Strategic Planning & Reporting:

    Operate at a strategic executive level to support the organization’s long-term growth and sustainability.

    Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including operational efficiency, client satisfaction, caregiver retention, and financial health.

    Provide regular updates and insights to the CEO and CFO to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.

    Communication & Team Leadership:

    Promote clear, professional communication between caregivers, office staff, and clients.

    Act as the primary point of contact for families regarding care delivery and scheduling concerns.

    Help build a collaborative and supportive work environment that fosters accountability and high performance.

    Qualifications:

    Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].

    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in home care, healthcare operations, or a related setting.

    Proven experience in team management and process improvement.

    Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

    Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and home care compliance standards.

    Ability to think and lead at a strategic executive level and implement practical solutions.

    Preferred:

    Previous experience in a non-skilled home care agency.

    Familiarity with scheduling software, EMR systems, or agency dashboards.

    Experience in billing processes or working with financial teams.

    Must have management experience
