    Position Overview

    The Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving sales performance, and leading teams across multiple Soleil Tans locations. This position requires a strategic and detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment and is passionate about elevating the guest experience.

    Core Responsibilities

    Operational Leadership

    Oversee daily operations across all spa locations to ensure smooth, consistent performance.

    Refine and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational consistency.

    Ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and meet Soleil’s brand standards.

    Implement process improvements and corrective actions to enhance efficiency.

    Team & Culture

    Recruit, train, and mentor salon leads and staff to ensure high engagement and performance.

    Conduct quarterly reviews, set goals, and foster a culture of accountability and recognition.

    Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.

    Monitor guest feedback and drive proactive service improvements.

    Financial Oversight

    Manage P&L statements and budgets across all locations.

    Track and analyze sales performance, labor costs, and profitability.

    Identify and implement cost-saving measures and revenue-growth strategies.

    Sales & Marketing Partnership

    Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to design and execute promotional campaigns.

    Drive membership and retail product sales through data-driven initiatives.

    Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead of competition.

    Compliance & Safety

    Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and state regulatory requirements.

    Conduct regular compliance audits and enforce corrective actions when necessary.

    Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

    Inventory & Vendor Management

    Maintain optimal inventory levels across all locations.

    Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for favorable pricing and terms.

    Oversee product replenishment, inventory audits, and loss prevention.

    Key Objectives

    Maximize efficiency and productivity through systemized operations.

    Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve strategic growth goals.

    Partner with the CEO on financial planning and budgeting.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (required).

    5+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-unit retail, spa, fitness, or hospitality operations.

    Proven success leading and developing teams.

    Strong understanding of financial management, customer service, and operational strategy.

    Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

    Experience implementing systems and streamlining operations for growth.

    Working Conditions

    Regular travel between spa locations.

    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
