Director of Financial Planning

The Director of Financial Planning is responsible for developing personalized financial plans that help clients achieve long-term financial security. This role works closely with clients and advisors to provide strategies related to investments, retirement, insurance, tax, and estate planning while delivering a high level of client service.

Responsibilities

• Create customized financial plans using financial planning software
• Gather client financial information and communicate planning recommendations
• Partner with advisors to identify opportunities to improve client strategies
• Maintain compliant client records, notes, and documentation
• Stay current on industry regulations, products, and planning strategies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience
• Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
• Minnesota Life & Health Insurance License preferred
• CFP®, ChFC®, RICP®, or similar designation preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
