    • Dotted-line coordination with cross-functional teams
    • Portfolio: ~300+ MF units (expected growth of 75-100% in next 12 months)

    Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Operations & Performance • Oversee day-to-day operations across all multi-family communities • Drive performance against key metrics including occupancy, vacancy, delinquency, turn time, and resident satisfaction • Ensure consistency in execution of company SOPs across all sites • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions

Team Leadership & Development • Lead, coach, and develop Community Managers • Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members • Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven culture

Leasing & Resident Experience • Oversee leasing performance and conversion effectiveness • Drive resident retention strategies and renewal performance • Handle escalated resident issues and ensure high service standards

Process Improvement & Scalability • Build and refine operational processes to support rapid portfolio growth • Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Marketing, and Accounting • Support integration of new acquisitions, including staffing, systems, and operational stabilization • Leverage systems (e.g., AppFolio) to improve reporting, tracking, and efficiency

Compliance Oversight • Maintain adherence to all local, state, and federal housing regulations • Ensure communities meet company standards for safety, compliance, and presentation

    Qualifications

Required • 10+ years of multi-family property management experience • 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing multiple communities and teams • Strong operational expertise across leasing, maintenance coordination, and financial performance • Proven experience managing portfolios and driving NOI improvement • Experience working in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills • High level of accountability, ownership, and problem-solving ability • Proficiency with property management systems (AppFolio preferred) • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred • Experience scaling operations in a growing company • Exposure to both stabilized and value-add properties • Experience integrating newly acquired communities • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field
