    Title: Director of Quality

    Shift: Day Shift

    Salary: $90,000-$140,000 based on skills and abilities

    Director of Quality Role:

    The Director of Quality promotes, develops, and oversees compliance of the company quality system. As the Director of Quality, you will assist in the adherence of customer requirements by managing quality policies, standards, procedures, programs, and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement across the organization.

    Director of Quality Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System to meet and exceed industry standards

    • Ensure compliance with all customer requirements, quality policies, and regulatory standards

    • Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes

    • Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to assure quality from concept through production

    • Oversee the creation and submission of customer-required documents like PPAPs and 8D reports

    • Effectively interact with Production and Engineering teams to maintain product supply and support new part introductions

    • Set quality compliance objectives and ensure that targets are consistently achieved

    • Maintain and improve product quality by conducting various audits and investigating customer complaints

    • Represent the company during all customer and third-party regulatory audits

    • Facilitate analysis and coordinate activities related to process and system improvements

    • Implement measures to improve inspection methods, equipment performance, and overall product quality

    • Lead the implementation and maintenance of company-wide quality SOPs

    Director of Quality Reporting Relationship:

    This position reports to the Plant Manager.

    About You:

    • Exhibit strong, hands-on leadership and management skills with a proven track record of developing teams

    • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field

    • Have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience

    • Demonstrate expert-level understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and quality management systems

    • Hold a strong knowledge and understanding of FMEA, APQP, and PPAP processes

    • Bring 3-5 years of experience in statistics, Six Sigma, or other data analysis methodologies

    • Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and blueprints with GD&T concepts

    • Familiarity with environmental compliance standards such as RoHS, REACH, and CMRT

    • Familiarity with multiple quality accreditations (ISO, IATF, A2LA) are preferred
