We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Residential Services to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our residential programs. The Director of Residential Services is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and the overall success of all group home operations. This leadership role oversees residential managers, supervisors, and direct support staff while promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and person-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for all residential programs and group home operations.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and licensing regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
Supervise, mentor, and support residential managers and leadership staff.
Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, retention, training, and performance management.
Monitor program budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation.
Ensure individuals served receive high-quality, person-centered care and support.
Investigate incidents, address concerns, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Collaborate with families, guardians, funding agencies, and community partners.
Analyze program outcomes and implement continuous quality improvement strategies.
Participate in strategic planning and organizational leadership initiatives.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in residential services, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or related human services programs.
Demonstrated experience supervising multiple residential programs or group homes.
Strong knowledge of licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices in residential care.
Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets, staff performance, and program operations.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between program locations as needed.
