Director of Emergency Services
As Director of Emergency Services, this position covers all aspects of Paul Davis management including company culture, customer focus, business process, financial responsibility and reporting, and overall leadership skills.
$85,000 - $110,000 base per year (depending on experience) + bonus program
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Gains the skills and knowledge in each of the restoration service areas
Promotes brand standards in alignment with company vision
Build key relationships within the construction and restoration community to generate business leads
Learn the financial goals, responsibilities and reporting requirements
Drives profitability across all channels through analysis of sales and margin
Identifies, develops, and retains internal talent; recruits and builds relationships with external talent
Communicate the various service offerings to potential customers
Attend business related events within the community
Develop a business plan in partnership with Paul Davis leadership to achieve profitability goals
Recruit and coach team members, promote teambuilding and engagement in the office
Marketing and sales of your company’s services to current and potential client base, insurance carriers, and industry professionals
Schedule and conduct department and company meetings and weekly performance meetings with direct reports
Coordinate and discuss financial/operational matters on a regular basis with finance personnel and department leads
Responsible for expense budget maintenance
Review job reports, WIP and customer relations with Leadership Team
Review plans and needs of the department
Implement, follow, and communicate company policies and procedures
Ensure proper communication between departments
Ensure compliance with industry standards
Ensure compliance with third party administrator in respect to insurance guidelines
Responsible for maintaining participation on insurance carrier programs
Responsible for resolving escalated customer service matters
All other duties as assigned
Competency – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe, Teams, Zoom etc.)
Extensive knowledge of estimation software
Extensive Knowledge of emergency services within the restoration industry

Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, Sage, Power BI, Contractor Connection, ADP, SharePoint, and OneDrive

Ability to work office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, phone system, computers)
Ability to work independently
Ability to coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frame
Ability to oversee a staff of up to twenty employees

Required Education and Experience:
Knowledge or experience in construction or restoration
A minimum of 4+ years experience in a management or leadership role within the restoration industry
Working knowledge of MICA, RMS, and water mitigation tools.
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in business, construction, or engineering
Experience with industry software
IICRC Certifications
One to three years of B2B sales experience in construction, restoration, or related field
Physical Requirements

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The person in this position may need to frequently move about client’s properties to complete or review estimates and oversees the completion of some jobs.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and staff over the phone and face to face
Occasionally will lift or move up to 25lbs.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Work Environment The employee will be working indoors and outdoors. The employee will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employees will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office. The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
Travel This position will require up to 25% local travel to jobs sites, trainings, and company events (as needed).
