Immediate Opening for Director of Sales – Midwest Region

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and deepening strategic relationships with key customers and existing partners. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader with strong technical acumen and a proven track record in complex B2B sales environments
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the Data Center and OEM markets aligned with EMCOR Enclosures’ corporate objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to position EMCOR as a market leader.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and growth objectives for assigned markets.
- Manage and expand a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through direct sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, OEM customers, system integrators, and major data center operators.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding customer requirements and ensuring EMCOR solutions align with their technical and business needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations within the Jonathan Group and its Business Units to deliver tailored solutions and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Support and mentor regional sales teams, manufacturer’s representatives, and distributors to achieve broader market coverage.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or technical master’s degree ideal.
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on Data Center or OEM markets.
- Demonstrated success in selling engineered products or solutions with long sales cycles and complex buying processes.
- Proven experience building strategic customer relationships and closing large, multi-year contracts.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, OEM integration, and enclosure system requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to meet customer and market demands.
