Director of Sales (Individual Contributor)
Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
Monday through Friday 9 AM – 5 PM; occasional evening/weekend events in the community; occasional weekend client intake meetings
90% field-based, 10% office-based
Job Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for generating new business, cultivating referral relationships, and increasing awareness of our services in the local community. This role focuses on sales growth through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship management with healthcare professionals, facilities, and families.
Business Development & Growth
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase client acquisition and market share.
Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with referral partners including hospitals, rehab centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, physicians, social workers, and community organizations.
Conduct regular in‑person visits, presentations, and outreach to strengthen brand visibility.
Leadership & Collaboration
Partner closely with the Executive Director/Owner to align sales goals with operational capacity and service excellence.
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to any sales or community outreach team members.
Collaborate with marketing to implement campaigns, events, and digital initiatives that support lead generation.
Client Engagement
Meet with prospective clients and families to understand care needs and present One You Love Homecare’s services.
Support the intake process to ensure a seamless transition from inquiry to service start.
Maintain a strong understanding of the non‑medical home care landscape, including competitor offerings and industry trends.
Performance Management
Track KPIs including referral activity, conversion rates, revenue growth, and territory performance.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership.
Continuously refine strategies based on data insights and market feedback.
Qualifications
Required
Proven success in sales, business development, or account management.
Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, or related service industries.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and meet performance targets.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
Leadership experience managing sales teams or outreach staff.
Existing relationships within the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County healthcare community.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
