    Inertia Resources is a nationally recognized energy brokerage firm with an established presence across Texas, Boston, Rhode Island, and New York. As we continue our strategic expansion, we are launching a Philadelphia market and seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead it.

    This role offers full market ownership, meaningful leadership responsibility, and the backing of a proven national platform. The Director of Sales Operations will play a critical role in building regional presence, scaling revenue, and developing a high-performing sales team.

    The Opportunity

    You will be responsible for opening and leading a new market, setting the commercial strategy, and building a team of Account Executives who execute at a high level. This position is ideal for an experienced energy professional ready to step into broader leadership with long-term growth potential.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead the launch and growth of Inertia’s Philadelphia market

    Build, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executive

    Drive new business development and oversee key client relationships

    Establish sales processes, performance expectations, and operating rhythm

    Own regional forecasting, revenue targets, and execution

    Partner with executive leadership on expansion strategy

    What We’re Looking For

    5+ years of experience in the energy industry

    Proven success as an energy broker

    Prior sales or people leadership experience

    Track record of growing revenue and developing talent

    Strong business judgment, accountability, and ownership mindset

    Compensation & Benefits

    Base salary: $75,000–$125,000, depending on experience
