A top U.S. manufacturer in commercial plastic piping solutions is hiring a Director of Sales (Waterworks) to own regional strategy and field execution across a multi-state territory.
This is for someone who can win in municipal + distribution channels, navigate bid/spec cycles, and still coach the team in the field (not manage from a dashboard).
Location: Onsite – El Segundo, CA
Base: $175K–$250K DOE + incentives & benefits
What you’ll own
- Lead and develop a regional team of outside sales reps (player/coach style)
- Drive territory strategy across municipal, contractor, and distribution channels
- Build/expand relationships with waterworks distributors and top accounts
- Support spec + approval efforts with engineers and public works stakeholders
- Own pricing, forecasting, revenue planning, and growth initiatives
- Represent the business at industry events and key customer meetings
What we’re looking for
- 8+ years B2B sales in waterworks / underground utilities / pipe systems / infrastructure materials
- 3+ years leading a sales team across a region (multi-state is ideal)
- Track record selling through distribution and/or into municipal markets
- Comfortable with bid cycles, spec influence, contractor dynamics
- Proven revenue growth in a competitive industrial environment
