    Director of Service — Focused Property Inspections | North Carolina Full-time | NC Home Inspector license required

    You already know how to inspect a house. This role is about what comes next.

    Focused Property Inspections is a veteran-owned inspection company operating in Maine, New Hampshire, and North Carolina, founded by a Certified Master Inspector with 30 years in the field. Our NC team is growing and we need a leader to own the quality of everything that goes out the door.

    What you will do

    Lead, train, and coach the NC inspection team

    Establish and maintain new client & agent relationships

    Own report quality through audits and on-site evaluations

    Build the QA program, the SOPs, and the training tools, then teach the team to use them

    Monitor ISN for 24-hour report delivery and hold the team to it

    Handle client concerns that require field intervention, start to finish

    Run weekly accountability meetings and report metrics to leadership

    Perform inspections to cover gaps and emergencies

    Track NC licensure board rules and update our procedures when they change

    What we are looking for

    Active NC Home Inspector license in good standing

    Real inspection volume and the ability to defend a finding to anyone

    Someone who enjoys teaching and developing people

    Self-managing, detail-driven, and calm in confrontational conversations

    Comfortable reading data and acting on it

    Willing to work in the field when the schedule demands it

    Preferred: WDIR and radon credentials, septic experience, CMI or CPI, supervisory or training background, ISN & Spectora familiarity.
