    Director of Supply Chain Management

    Overview:

    StaffBuffalo is working with a well-established manufacturing organization to hire a Director of Supply Chain Management in Niagara Falls, NY. This newly created leadership role, paying $110,000 - $145,000/year, offers the opportunity to strengthen and evolve supply chain operations across multiple facilities while partnering closely with finance, operations, planning, and sales leadership.

    The Director of Supply Chain Management will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in improving purchasing, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and material flow for multiple facilities. The ideal candidate is an experienced supply chain leader who has successfully improved processes in complex environments and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

    This is an In-Person, On-Site role in Niagara Falls, NY.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and material flow
    • Evaluate current processes, identify inefficiencies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
    • Provide leadership and development for supply chain personnel, including direct oversight of the Senior Buyer
    • Partner with Operations, Planning, Sales, Transportation, and Finance teams to improve coordination and execution
    • Enhance ERP utilization, inventory visibility, reporting accuracy, and data integrity
    • Support freight, warehousing, and material movement initiatives that improve service levels and operational efficiency
    • Drive scalable processes and best practices that support long-term organizational growth
    • Some travel might be expected, approximately 5% between facilities.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or related manufacturing functions
    • Prior leadership experience managing supply chain, purchasing, or planning personnel
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
    • Demonstrated success improving processes and building structure within evolving operational environments
    • Strong ERP experience, Acumatica experience is a plus
    • Excellent analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong business systems knowledge
