    • Develop and execute strategies to increase dealer participation and purchasing volume
    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and dealer customers
    • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, leadership, operations) to align program initiatives and drive growth
    • Analyze program performance, market trends, and supplier competitiveness within building materials
    • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers and vendor partners aligned with category strategy
    • Resolve issues related to orders, pricing discrepancies, claims, and service between dealers and suppliers
    • Lead, coach, and develop team members within the department
    • Represent the organization at industry events, supplier meetings, and dealer engagements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
    • Experience within building materials, lumber (LBM), millwork, construction products, or related distribution/manufacturing industries
    • 5+ years of experience in a commercial role such as sales, account management, vendor management, purchasing, or category management within a related industry
    • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with responsibility for managing or developing team members
    • Experience negotiating vendor agreements, supplier contracts, pricing structures, rebates, and freight terms
    • Experience working in a dealer-facing, customer-facing, account management, or channel sales environment
    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with suppliers, sales teams, and internal leadership
    • Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day program execution
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 140k - 175k/year range, plus annual bonus
    • Medical, dental, vision, HSA, and FSA benefits
    • Company-funded retirement program with employer contributions and profit sharing
