This position works cross-functionally with suppliers, internal sales teams, and dealer customers to drive program performance and market share growth. This is not a quota-carrying sales role, but requires a strong background in dealer-facing or customer-facing commercial environments within building materials, distribution, or manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, leadership, operations) to align program initiatives and drive growth
Analyze program performance, market trends, and supplier competitiveness within building materials
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers and vendor partners aligned with category strategy
Resolve issues related to orders, pricing discrepancies, claims, and service between dealers and suppliers
Lead, coach, and develop team members within the department
Represent the organization at industry events, supplier meetings, and dealer engagements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
Experience within building materials, lumber (LBM), millwork, construction products, or related distribution/manufacturing industries
5+ years of experience in a commercial role such as sales, account management, vendor management, purchasing, or category management within a related industry
3+ years of experience in a leadership role with responsibility for managing or developing team members
