Position Overview
A growing multi-channel consumer products company is seeking a Head of Marketing to take full ownership of marketing strategy and execution across its e-commerce and wholesale businesses. This senior leadership role will oversee all core marketing functions, including email, affiliate, digital, print/catalog, and campaign planning, with the goal of driving growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility.
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for aligning all marketing efforts with business objectives, managing multi-channel campaigns, and delivering measurable results across both B2B and DTC audiences.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a strong background in consumer product marketing and a proven track record leading cross-channel strategies. They understand how to reach and convert both wholesale and direct-to-consumer audiences, and are comfortable overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of marketing initiatives. They are analytical, organized, and able to lead with both strategy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all marketing activities across digital, print, affiliate, and traditional channels
Own the execution of email marketing, digital advertising, affiliate programs, catalogs, and seasonal campaigns
Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar aligned with key business objectives
Create and implement strategies for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
Collaborate closely with e-commerce, sales, and operations teams to ensure messaging and initiatives are aligned
Oversee development of creative assets including email content, print materials, and branded visuals
Monitor performance metrics, report on campaign effectiveness, and make data-informed adjustments
Identify resource needs and support the growth of the marketing function over time
Bring innovative and structured thinking to improve marketing impact and reach
Qualifications / Must-Haves
5+ years of experience in marketing within a consumer goods or product-based company
Demonstrated success in leading email, digital, and affiliate marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of both B2B and DTC marketing strategies
Excellent planning, communication, and project management skills
Data-driven and results-oriented, with strong analytical capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders across the organization
Experience managing internal or external creative and media resources
