Disability Planners, LLC specializes in assisting and educating individuals with disabilities with their need to find a Medicare plan that best accommodates their situation. We are looking to grow our team with a knowledgeable IT specialist to help assist our growing company in several states across the country.
Work as part of a distributed team to provide technical assistance for the organization’s users and technical systems; including Windows desktops, network hardware, printers, virtual systems, etc. This will cover the whole organization with focus on the local Las Vegas office and users.
You will answer questions on technical issues (internet connection, voip phone, email, password resets, printers, custom CRM support, etc.) and offer advice to solve them.
An excellent candidate will have good technical knowledge, is customer-oriented, patient, and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
Responsibilities:
· Perform support functions of desktops, printers, network, and related equipment, remote and onsite
· Educate users on basic self-service and troubleshooting steps
· Provision/deprovision users in appropriate systems
· Maintaining and repairing hardware including peripheral devices
· Assist with keeping IT documentation (inventory, network diagrams, etc.) updated
· Troubleshooting system failures and identifying network connectivity
· Work with third party organizations that we contracted with regarding our systems (phones, Internet, etc.)
· Maintaining and configuring servers and databases
· Maintain and improve our security efforts to protect our systems and client data
Requirements/Skills:
· 5+ years in an IT role
· BS/MS degree in Information Technology or similar
· Experience with assisting end users with support issues
· Ability to work well with other team and staff members
· Understanding of system security and HIPAA compliance
· Self-starter who can manage their time and accomplish tasks without the need for a manager to supervise every step of the way
· Problem solver with the ability to research and implement solutions for issues as they come up
· Knowledge and experience with MS Office/Microsoft365, Teams, AWS, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Azure AD, Intune, DNS, DHCP, etc.
· Making routine repairs to computer hardware or software
· Understanding of how to install and configure network equipment, including CPE for remote workers
· Ability to communicate with people with various levels of technical knowledge
· Diagnostic and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems and find solutions
· Critical thinking skills to solve complex problems
· Dexterity when handling manual repairs
