JOB OVERVIEW
Partner with the leadership staff and volunteers to effectively manage all aspects of the administrative role for the Groups Ministry in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Preston Trail Community Church by supporting the Groups Ministry’s administrative needs and overseeing the implementation of the day-to-day operations, administrative responsibilities, planning and execution, calendaring and operational organization.
Manage the church database for Discipleship Ministries including workflows for leader onboarding, all group interest, text lists, small group management, etc.
Oversee implementation of new PATH engagement system and produce reports for team
Oversee all Discipleship Ministry groups connection and assimilation tasks
Manage system to transition people into groups in a timely manner from care groups, Rooted, etc.
Maintain database to track people who have completed Rooted and oversee process as Rooted graduates become a small group
Maintain Ministry Dashboard
Manage and assign video licenses for Group resources
Support all Events for Groups and Connections Ministry
Support MOPS Ministry
Coordinate with other ministry teams for event coordination
Schedule and organize Groups Team ministry events calendar and team calendar
Help create and edit emails for the Groups ministry at large
Record and maintain all notes from groups ministry meetings
Complete additional tasks as directed by Discipleship Pastor
Support the prayer team by ensuring the Cross is covered weekly, compiling prayer requests, sending out prayer requests, connecting with people submitting prayer requests, and vetting and assimilating new prayer team members.
Help create and maintain team calendar
Be the KidCare liaison for all of discipleship
Support the Connections Team by preparing for new team members, taking inventory for supplies, and assisting with Serve Central for holidays, team socials, churchwide connect events, and assimilating new families
Oversee special celebrations for Discipleship Staff Team members for birthdays and anniversaries
Help plan and execute Discipleship Staff Team meetings and retreats
Help care for overall Discipleship Team serve team members with meal trains, thank you cards, etc.
