The Story's Discipleship Coordinator is fully committed to Jesus and intensely motivated to inspire non-religious people to follow Jesus. This individual is a goal-oriented self-starter who understands that the goals of Christian leadership are 1) to serve and not to be served, 2) to empower others to do the work of God's kingdom, and 3) to become a leader who raises up leaders who raise up leaders. This person will report to the Pastor of Discipleship, and is part time role requiring 15-20 hours a week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and handle all logistics for Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night group programming in person at the church
• Serve as the discipleship staff presence during discipleship events
• Coordinate groups registration events
• Connect and do ongoing follow up with people who register for groups; this includes people who never attended after registration
• Organize database and keep all groups rosters and personal information up to date
• Communicate group logistics with group leaders
• Communicate regularly with group participants to keep groups informed and organized
• Help with the planning and organization of group leader training, recruitment, and celebration events
• Help with the planning and execution of Story retreats and guest speakers
• Attend staff meetings

****Education: Completed or pursuing Bachelor's degree

Compensation: $20 per hour
