Discovered Markets is looking for a Data Strategist to improve communication of market insights to our partners and help manage the growing data sets that empower our products. Discovered Markets provides qualitative and quantitative insights to businesses and investors as they explore opportunities in emerging markets. In our work across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, we map stakeholder networks, mine existing research, and create actionable content to break down the knowledge gap that slows down market expansion. The Data Strategist will use our data, primarily network stakeholder information and unorganized long-form research, to improve our Mapping and Amplify services. They will evaluate, integrate, and manage existing third-party software to communicate and host this data, ensuring data integrity across our systems. Where existing software does not exist, they will be able to source, evaluate, hire, and manage external engineers. They will also set guidance on future data collection efforts and streamline data management across the team.
