    Job Description

    Reporting to the Director of Clinical Applications, the Clinical Systems Manger will support the Clinical Applications Team (admissions, care, and collection systems), manage core Clinical Applications (KIPU and Advanced MD), and provide guidance on solutions that meet the needs of our growing business. This position will also be responsible for integration, setup, as well as ongoing optimization and training efforts within all divisions with unique responsibility to the Substance Use Disorder and Professional Psychiatric Services divisions.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    This role requires a self-motivated, detail oriented, positive, collaborative, and organized individual with the ability to maintain flexibility and take ownership of projects and processes. Must be a problem solver and address issues in a timely manner. Additionally:

    • Provide support for the Clinical Applications Team (admissions, care, and collection systems)
    • Implement, manage, and monitor clinical EMR systems
    • Analyze requirements, create, and document innovative solutions
    • Work with business users to understand their processes and suggest process improvements
    • Analyze reporting requirements, create and process reports as necessary
    • Display leadership in systems implementation and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with a team
    • Provide users technical support as needed
    • Coordinate development, maintenance, and revisions of end-user and system documentation
    • Monitor and analyze clinical workflow to develop and implement more efficient procedures and use of software resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy and enhanced workflow
    • Support ongoing expansion of the business, including matters associated with geographic expansion, mergers, and acquisitions, etc.
    • Update form templates, add custom fields, create dashboards, maintain and develop custom records in electronic system
    • Manage requests to clinical system vendors and track progress when appropriate
    • Communicate clearly and efficiently with stakeholders on program updates, training, and new feature roll outs
    • Assist with maintaining electronic prescribing access for medical providers
    • Assist with facility record maintenance and training
    • Collaborate on data initiatives to best support and drive the business
    • Travel required to support existing company locations and new implementation projects
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare systems or related field of study preferred
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in healthcare technology preferred
    • Experience with KIPU/AdvancedMD, systems administration and reporting preferred
    • Able to work well under pressure and deadlines
    • Ability to think independently and to present information in a conceptual, persuasive, understandable manner
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to provide clear, concise, and timely communications on critical issues
    • Ability to translate and convey technical issues into laymen’s terms
    • Ability to interact and work well with others
