    Job Description

    The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for marketing efforts in a specific region as assigned to them by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach. Within this specific region they are to increase awareness of Discovery Behavioral Health programming, the division they represent, and the specific brands they have been hired for. Outreach representatives are to develop referral sources, maintain relationships internally and externally, and ultimately drive admissions to the organization.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Maintain activity levels equating to 45 1:1s per month and/or 3 events per month or at least 60 in person meetings per month or as assigned by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach.
    • Ensure admission goals to your service line are being achieved
    • Develop and maintain referral relationships amongst various healthcare professionals. These relationships should include but are not limited to:
    • Private practice professionals (physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, counselors, and other professionals with the potential to refer admissions to a specific DBH service line)
    • Ancillary professionals can include but are not limited to: chiropractors, chronic pain specialists, neurologists, holistic practitioners, massage therapists, etc.
    • Develop relationships with and participate in community outreach efforts which include but are not limited to:
    • Service line specific events (TMS Clinical Society)
    • Collaborate with the service line provider (TMS techs, clinicians)
    • Conduct open houses on the treatment offering
    • Set up educational seminars with providers
    • Creating and executing regional strategic marketing plan. The goals of these plans are as follows:
    • Increase referrals and admissions for continued company growth.
    • Demonstrate measured growth and revenue annually.
    • Maintain Sales Force database and activity record
    • Add new contacts into Sales Force: contact information, regional assignment, and categorize
    • Keep activities and events logged appropriately in Sales Force.
    • Complete end of month reports in a timely manner: mileage reports, credit card reports, end of month reporting, and other reports as identified by Regional Director.
    • Assess and constructively contribute the development of marketing collateral and other department needs.
    • Assist Regional Director in identifying new opportunities for marketing efforts: direct mail, online, and community based.
    • Facilitate and support communication between outreach and admissions, outreach and clinical, outreach and management.
    • Facilitate and support communication between referral sources and admissions, referral sources and clinical, and referrals throughout Discovery Behavioral Health as a whole.

    Qualifications

    • BA degree
    • Sales and marketing experience preferred
    • Contacts with various hospitals and other healthcare professionals
    • Ability to network with all levels of management and healthcare professionals
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organization skills and ability to establish priorities, plan develop, implement marketing campaigns
