    Job Summary: As a Discovery Clerk at LA Injury Attorneys, you will provide essential support to our legal team during the discovery phase of litigation. Your responsibilities will include gathering and organizing all information required to respond to discovery requests, ensuring the firm is fully equipped to pursue settlements in ongoing cases. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are vital to this role, as your work will support successful case outcomes and ensure adherence to court rules and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Communication: Engaging with clients, opposing counsel, and all relevant parties participating in the discovery process. The role includes reviewing incoming discovery materials and conducting interviews with the client to gather necessary information for preparing thorough and accurate responses.

    Document Management: Organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents related to the discovery process.

    Evidence Gathering: Assisting in gathering evidence for cases

    Case File Maintenance: Maintaining and organizing case files.

    Deadline Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all deadlines related to discovery.

    Trial Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of trial binders and exhibits.

    Software Proficiency: Utilizing legal software for case management and document management.

    What We're Looking For:

    Bilingual Skills: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to communicate effectively with our diverse client base .

    Litigation Knowledge: Background knowledge of the litigation process is essential .

    Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Adobe PDF, and a typing speed of at least 65 wpm .

    Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and time management are a must .

    Team Player: Ability to maintain effective relationships with attorneys, staff, and the general public .

    Professionalism: Outgoing, creative, intelligent, professional, and polished .

    Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime when needed .

    Requirements:

    Valid driver's license and own transportation .

    Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer .
