We are searching for a Spanish speaking lead teacher for our Virtual Learning Program.

The Discovery Point teacher plans, organizes, and implements appropriate children activities according to Creative Curriculum® designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth all while maintaining a safe, healthy, and fun learning environment.

We are searching for lead teachers whom are able to teach Preschool and PreK children through virtual learning. We find the development of the whole child to be essential in the quality of care and education we provide. Through our virtual learning we focus on academic areas, physical, and social/emotional skill. We are therefore searching teachers whom are well educated, creative to get the message though in a different way, and a strong charisma which can keep the focus on the children on the screen.

The virtual classes will be made at our school but in an empty classroom where we can keep social distance.

Qualifications:

· A North Carolina Early Childhood Credential

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or similar

· Native Spanish speaking

· Fluent English

· At least 2 year verifiable full time teacher experience

· Certified in Infant/Child CPR and Basic First Aid

· Creative

· Strong charisma

· Strong motivational and communication skills

· The ability to maintain a positive learning environment

· Organizational and basic computer and clerical skills
