Job Overview

Join our fast-paced pizzeria as a Dishwasher / Food Prep Team Member, where your energy and attention to detail help keep our kitchen running smoothly. In this essential role, you’ll support the pizza team by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food prep, and ensuring the kitchen stays organized during busy service hours. This is a paid position and a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a pizza kitchen, develop culinary skills, and be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment.

Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and prepping pizza toppings.

Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, kitchen floors, prep stations, and storage areas throughout service and closing.

Sweep and mop kitchen and work areas during service and at the end of shifts to ensure a safe, clean environment.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.

Support pizza and kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely order flow.

Assist with catering orders or large pizza prep as needed.

Keep work areas organized, stocked, and ready for service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.

Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.

Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards, or the ability to learn quickly.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and cleaning.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Positive attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
