Job Summary: We are seeking a dishwasher to work in our busy kitchen at Littleton’s Market. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and food preparation areas. This role supports kitchen operations by ensuring a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards. The dishwasher plays a key role in working with the team.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dish machines or by hand

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, prep areas, and storage areas

Properly sort, stack, and store clean items

Remove trash and recycling; maintain clean waste areas

Assist with basic food prep as assigned (washing produce, portioning, etc.)

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (FIFO, temperature logs, chemical safety)

Restock cleaning supplies and notify management of shortages

Support kitchen team during busy service periods

Maintain a clean and organized dish station at all times

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Previous kitchen or grocery experience preferred but not required

Frequent standing, bending, and lifting

Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment

Ability to work in wet and humid conditions
