Basic / Essential Functions

Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and back-of-house support areas

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Clean and reset dining room tables according to restaurant standards, as assigned

Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift

Complete opening and closing side work as assigned

Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs, including cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, mopping floors, and other cleaning tasks

Requirements

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety rules and procedures

Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry typical restaurant items (e.g., dish racks, trash bags)

Ability to work around heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals used in restaurants, with proper safety procedures

Eligible to participate in the restaurant’s Service Tip Fund / tip share program, where applicable. Tip amounts vary based on business volume and are not guaranteed and are paid separately from base hourly wages.
