Job Summary The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position supports both the kitchen and service teams by ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen areas are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage areas
Dispose of trash and recycling properly and regularly
Assist with sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning duties throughout the restaurant
Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies to designated stations
Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks when needed
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with the team
Report equipment or maintenance issues to management promptly
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Willingness to learn and assist where needed
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be authorized to work in the United States
