    THE ROLE

    We are looking for a people-focused individual who will use their recruiting acumen to attract and retain talent for our technical teams at Dispatch.  You’ll do so by partnering with our leaders to bring the best into our organization.

    As a member of our talent acquisition team, you will post new jobs, review applications, source and screen candidates, and work with managers to facilitate the interview process.  With a focus on engineering and product roles, you will build a pipeline of technical candidates to meet business needs.  Working in HR at Dispatch, you’ll help build high-performing teams and act with a sense of responsibility, compassion, integrity, and forgiveness.

    This is a full-time exempt role (administrative exemption) that reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Executes all job duties in alignment with Dispatch’s core values, mission, and purpose

    • Provide input for the continued improvement of talent acquisition systems and processes

    • Partners with Dispatch leadership to recruit talent who align with our values, competencies, mission, and purpose while maintaining time to fill under 45 days

    • Manages the full life-cycle recruiting process, with special attention focused on increasing diversity efforts and achieving broader company goals to fill open requisitions

    • Builds a pipeline of qualified candidates through online searches, utilizing Linkedin Recruiter, generating referrals, searching job boards, posting jobs online, attending events, and locating technical talent in any/every other way possible

    • Partners with the Marketing team to promote Dispatch’s talent Brand through online and offline events, such as, but not limited to: attending community events, job fairs, career fairs, giving presentations to student groups

    • Facilitates the scheduling and arrangements of interviews ensuring a delightful candidate experience

    • Manage internal applicant tracking system to track applicant pool and candidate status to ensure an effective and efficient hiring practices

    • Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of your responsibilities)

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organization

    • A customer service orientation, problem solving, and relationship building skills 

    • Ability to work independently with little direction, take ownership and complete work

    • Understanding of current technologies and trends, specifically as it relates to technical talent skills

    • High degree of accuracy, care  and attention to detail

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    • 2+ years experience working in Talent Acquisition for technical, IT and/or engineering roles

    • Exceptional understanding of proactive sourcing of candidates using job boards and/or social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed.com, or any other sources for technical talent

    • Demonstrated experience creating and executing recruiting sourcing strategies and actively building a pipeline of diverse talent, including active and passive candidates

    • BS/BA degree in Business or Marketing (preferred)

    • Experience in the on-demand industry and/or start-up space is a plus (preferred)

    • Previous experience in sourcing talent using boolean logic (preferred)
