THE ROLE
We're looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to support our Human Resources team, and all teams at Dispatch. This position will support the organization through planning, creating, organizing, and delivering impactful learning and development experiences that drive our organizational goals.
This role will be responsible for multiple learning and development initiatives across the entire employee experience, including new employee onboarding, department and role training, professional development, leadership training, and equity, inclusion, and diversity initiatives. This includes day-to-day ownership of all program coordination, the collaborative development of learning content, and the delivery of in-person and virtual learning and collaboration experiences.
This position will build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels, and work closely with leadership across all departments to ensure alignment. This is a full-time, non-exempt role that reports to the HR Manager of Organizational Health.

Partners in the building, maintenance, and evolvement of talent systems for continual attraction, growth, and development of talent at Dispatch
Partners with all stakeholders, from individual contributors to senior leadership, to identify knowledge, skill, and behavioral gaps
Develops measurable success metrics for all programming, to then iterate and continually improve effectiveness and productivity to support business objectives
Build and delivers effective and engaging learning and development solutions, rooted in performance objectives and adult learning best practices
Oversees our new employee and intern onboarding programs to ensure new employee success and engagement
Collaborates with leaders to coordinate new employee department and role training
Collaborates with our Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Employee Steering Group to identify, develop, and deliver impactful experiences aligned with the group’s objectives
Performs other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of your responsibilities)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in communication, human resources, learning and development, or related field, certification, or equivalent experience as listed below (required)
2+ years of experience in learning & development (required)
1+ years of experience in instructional design and program management (required)
Experience delivering instructor-led trainings and workshop facilitation, including experience in delivering new employee organizational onboarding (required)
Experience delivering content virtually (required)
Content generation experience, including basic video creation and editing (required)
Experience with a learning or content management system (preferred)
1+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within a fast-paced, technology startup environment (preferred)
Experience delivering impactful training for multiple employee personas, including interns, mentors, and leaders (preferred)
Understanding of adult learning best practices and instructional design principles and models
Experience in organizing, delivering, and evaluating programs and curriculum
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong attention to detail
