    JOB SUMMARY

    DispatchHealth is creating the most advanced and complete in-home care model in the world.  As a key contributor to that goal, the telephone triage nurse is an integral part of the care team. This position speaks to patients further about symptoms and determines the care needed to treat the patient.  ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

    This position is located in Denver, CO - no full time remote accepted. 

    JOB DUTIES

    • Provide telephonic triage to patients seeking care with multiple medical concerns

    • Serve as a clinical resource for non-clinical call center staff, unlicensed back office staff and patients, families, and other members of the patient's care team

    • Document in electronic medical record, ensuring completeness and accuracy

    • Adopt and champion technological tools to optimize provider workflow

    • Work both independently, as well as collaboratively with others to achieve common goals

    • Ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization

    JOB REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • RN with 5+ years of clinical experience
    • Active RN license 
    • Diverse clinical background, with 1 year minimum of telephone triage or emergency department
    • Expertise in clinical skills related to acute care, chronic conditions, and injuries
    • Cultural competency
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Critical thinking skills utilizing evidence-based standards of practice
    • Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
    • Strong computer and technological skills
    • Flexibility in scheduling

     

    PREFERRED

    · Willingness to get licensed in multiple states

    · 2-3 years of emergency department experience
