\- Early morning shift! 4am or 6 am start time.

Our client in the logistics industry is looking for an early morning dispatcher, where you will you are responsible for coordinating dispatched drivers and customer shipments to ensure on-time and safe deliveries. You will be the liaison with internal and external customers, answering questions and providing follow-up actions when necessary.

Prior experience in the logistics industry is highly regarded.

Dispatching:

• Coordinate dispatched drivers and customer shipments.
• Monitor routes and delivery schedules.
• Become proficient with the company’s operations software.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities.
• File paperwork in an organized manner.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

 

• Preferred Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High School or GED
• Prior experience in dispatching or related field.
• Experience in Transportation, Industrial Services, or other similar Industries.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and organized individual.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Detail oriented and customer service oriented.

  Must be able to work outside of normal work hours. Two options available: 4am-1pm or 6am-3pm.
